Mutuality: a formal norm for Christian social ethics
The central problem this important new study addresses is the nature of the contribution Christian feminist thinkers have made by claiming that mutuality is a necessary part of a Christ-centered social ethical framework. The theological method employed in this monograph is analytical and comparative toward the end of illuminating, testing, and demonstrating the thesis: mutuality is a formal norm for Christian social ethics that functions along with love and justice to promote a balance of power that is required for optimum human flourishing, a flourishing set within the interdependent context of the whole of creation.
